Get Ready, Get Set - Let's Ride!

Saturday, September 20th, 9:00am.

Pack up your bikes and meet at Century Cycles located at 1621 Main St. (Route 303) in Peninsula. Doug at Century Cycles will help us to complete all of Achievement 14, Ride Right; including bike safety, how to change a flat tire, and what you need to do to keep your bike in good working order.

We’ll then bike north on the Cuyahoga Valley Towpath (6.75 miles) to Brecksville, and ride back aboard the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (departs Brecksville at 12:45p). Adventurous bikers can continue on to the Canal Visitors Center (11.25 miles), and board the 12:30p train back Peninsula.

Fee is $2.00 per bike. All family members are welcome to join in on the fun.

Be Prepared: All Scouts should make some trail food for the ride. Achievement 9e.

Housekeeping
A Wolf hat was left behind at the Obermeier’s house. If you lost it, we have it! Please let us know.

Please review the Electives section in your handbook, and let us know if you would like to coordinate an outing or a meeting to accomplish some of the electives. Group participation is important, and it helps keep the program exciting for the boys. Please consider coordinating a meeting.

Help Wanted: The Pack is looking for a Camp Chairperson to coordinate sign-ups and carpools for this year’s summer camp. If you can help out, please contact Jeff Wagner at jvwagner@ra.rockwell.com.

Thank You!
